Out with the Old, In with the New

Out with the old…
… in with the new!
No, I will not be driving Tim to work everyday. I am now the proud owner of a Buick Enclave. Yes, I said Buick and no, I am did not turn 67 years old over night (although lately the aching back and swollen feet make me feel considerably older than I am). I never thought I would want a Buick but I did. We started looking at Yukon Denalis but they just didn’t seem to make sense for us. And one thing led to another and I ended up really wanting a Buick. Never say never I guess. We were prepared to go and get the white one today but drove away with black. I have never wanted a black car either but I do really like the way the Enclaves look in black and we got a good deal. My justification is that it isn’t really black. It is carbon so it is a very metallic black/charcoal. In the sun it looks more charcoal but in the shade it is very much black. It’s funny because I had a white car first and loved it. When I went to buy the Lexus, I went to get the white one. I drove all the way to the Mission Viejo Lexus because they had the white one I wanted and I ended up driving away with a blue one. Maybe I wasn’t meant to have another white car.

Well, I am now one step closer to being ready for this baby! We start our classes at the hospital tomorrow so we’ll see how prepared I feel then!

Still pregnant and it’s still a boy! But I am getting bigger by the minute and we are finally getting around to our “nursery corner”.

Construction truck! How fitting, huh? Tim picked it out. I actually preferred a cute blue stripped and polk-a-dot theme from Restoration Hardware but it was too hard to say no to Tim’s face when we found out there was contruction truck decor.

New Due Date

At the dr yesterday, they reviewed the notes from my 20 week unltrasound and I am now due July 27th! I guess that makes me 22 weeks now. This date seems to line up a little better with my last cycle than the August 6th date. Or maybe I am just going to have a huge boy! Let’s hope not.
